5 Disney Movies In 2019 You Have To Watch

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! We hope you all had a wonderful start to 2019 and are settling back into your normal routine nicely.

One of the things we’re really excited about this year is the EPIC Disney movies coming out. There’re like 10 movies set to hit the big screen but we have five firm favourites that we can’t wait to see!

Dumbo – Friday 29th March

As soon as “Baby Of Mine” started playing in the trailer we bet everyone was a snotty, sobbing WRECK. This Tim Burton live-action remake looks set to be absolutely amazing with a slightly different take to the 1941 classic.

Aladdin – Friday 24th May

Directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Will Smith as the Genie ya’ll already know this movie is going to be brilliant. Mena Massoud plays Aladdin and Naomi Scott is taking on the role of Jasmine. Bring on the magical carpet ride to a whole new world.

Toy Story 4 – Friday 21st June

We didn’t expect we’d ever get another instalment of Toy Story but we’re so glad that Toy Story 4 is actually happening! Super excited to see that a new character is joining the gang called Forky and apparently he will play a big part in the movie.

The Lion King – Friday 19th July

So this is going to be a photorealistic CG remake of the 1994 classic which means when THAT scene happens it’s going to be even more painful in all it’s shiny new high quality. (Damn you Scar.) On a happier note Nala will be voiced by Beyoncé which is literally the most purrfect pairing in a Disney movie EVER.

Frozen 2 – Friday 22nd November

Five years later and we’re finally getting a sequel! Don’t care what anyone says Frozen is for adults too and we’re SO ready for another badass musical number. Anna is set to be voiced by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel voices Elsa and Josh Gad voices Olaf.

Well, it’s safe to say that Disney is spoiling us this year and is going to absolutely smash the box office. Which Disney movie are you most excited to watch?
