6 Herbal Teas You Have to Try

A good herbal tea leaves you feeling happy inside and out. It’s basically just an infusion of plant leaves, seeds, roots or bark, extracted in hot water. Meaning we get all benefits from the plant in an easily digestible form.

Peppermint Tea

This minty cup of magic is great for mild tummy upsets. It also helps with bloating and digestion in general. Try have a cup after you eat. (This one is my fave!)

Nettle Tea

This natural anti-inflammatory tea helps flush away toxins. It’s great for your skin and hair. It has a floral, slightly bitter taste and it took me a few cups before I actually enjoyed drinking it!

Chamomile Tea

A cup of this before bed is all you need to unwind and feel relaxed. It really does help promote a better night’s sleep. It also reduces inflammation and helps calms a sore throat.

Ginger Tea

Ginger tea is known to aid people experiencing nausea, it’s particularly good to have a cup if you experience motion sickness. It also helps stimulate and soothe the digestive system.

Liquorice Root Tea

Liquorice root has been proven to ease congestion and coughing. It also acts as a soothing agent so next time you’re feeling under the weather have a cup or two of this. Plus, it’s like drinking your favourite sweet! Win-win!

Lemon Balm Tea

This is a powerful antioxidant and has numerous benefits such as boosts alertness and helps calm nerves and anxiety. It’s also one of the more rather fragrant teas to drink.
