Review: Palmer’s Coconut Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

If you have a specific hair type it can be really hard to find a shampoo and conditioner combo that actually works. This Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Conditioning Shampoo and Repairing Conditioner is meant to be perfect for dry/damaged hair. It’s paraben and sulphates free which is always a good start so we thought let’s check it out…

The Shampoo

As soon as you flick the lid open you can smell that beautiful, coconuty goodness. The fragrance is gorgeous but it’s not too overpowering. It has quite a thick, creamy feel to it and a small amount goes a long way so you’ll find the bottle lasts you for a decent amount of time. It lathers up really nicely and leaves your hair nourished from your scalp to the ends.

The Conditioner

The coconut smell isn’t as strong with the conditioner and it feels more creamy. It’s meant to be left on for 3-5 minutes but if you leave it for a little bit less or longer it doesn’t really matter. Soon as you wash this off your hair feels so smooth and soft and it’s brilliant for getting any tangles out. As with the shampoo, you only need a small amount of the product for the job to be done so there’s no need to be overgenerous with how much you apply.

Final Thoughts ~

Been using both of these products for a few weeks now and so far, so good, so very good in fact. It replenishes moisture, adds shine and leaves your locks feeling super soft. If you have dry/damaged hair then it’s definitely worth trying. Wouldn’t recommend this product if you have naturally oily hair, as it may be too rich for you and leave your hair looking greasy.
