False nails from the shops are a fab way of getting the look you want quick and easy. I used these nails for the first time last week and was both happily surprised and a tad disappointed…
For the price of £5 these nails definitely did the job – I only wanted to wear them for one night for an engagement party (congrats again to my bestie xxx.) The pack includes glue and a applicator tool and they were pretty easy to stick on with or without the applicator. I just pressed them down in place for a few seconds and they stayed put nicely. Literally no fuss and no mess.
Length wise they were longer than I would have preferred but I didn’t want to trim them down in case I messed them up! I did give them a file though but I don’t think it made much of a difference.
The one thing that I didn’t like about these nails was the fact the sizing wasn’t great. They looked quite big and although the pack says they have 10 sizes there seemed to be a lot of large sized nails. I thought there would be the same number of each sized nail but I couldn’t pair up a couple of them, so my forefinger on my right hand had a bigger nail than my forefinger on on my left hand. Of course you couldn’t really tell unless you’re close up so it wasn’t too bad.
Final Thoughts ~
I like how easy the nails are to apply and the fact they stayed on really well. The pack says they last for 7 days but I removed them the next day simply because I only wore them as it was a special occasion and I don’t like having them on for too long. Even in the past when I’ve paid £££ to get acrylics done which last for 3 weeks I’m itching to get them off after a week. The sizing wasn’t wasn’t great and I the fact that some nails sizes didn’t pair up was quite strange. Based on that I probably wouldn’t use this particular pack again.
